Propose a workshop
Workshops are 60-minute, attendee-led sessions for structured discussions or other activities with a clear, specific goal.
Why propose a workshop?
Workshops are opportunities to leverage the expertise of summit attendees to make progress on your work, or to share skills that could benefit attendees in their work. A strong workshop might aim to:
Get focused feedback on specific proposals or ideas
Solve concrete problems that need a range of perspectives
Test and improve approaches you're developing
Create actionable plans with potential collaborators
Share skills about a particular topic
Proposal guidelines
Due to limited slots, we have a high bar for accepting proposals. The strongest proposals will:
Have a clear, specific goal (e.g., "get feedback on X proposal" or "teach attendees tangible skills about Y topic")
NOT be general discussions (e.g., "discuss Z thing")
You can choose to propose a shorter session than 60 minutes.
Important dates
Submission deadline: January 26
We've set this deadline to give us time to review proposals and decide which workshops to schedule and when. If selected, it will also give you time to prepare your workshop ahead of the event.
